# Module 5 — Outreach that works

_Outreach is not a numbers game with a persuasion problem. It is a relevance problem people try to solve with numbers._

## Checklist

- [ ] Confirm every prospect has a named human, not a shared inbox.
- [ ] Write down, in one sentence per prospect, why this person would care.
- [ ] Draft the pitch as a full email, then cut it by a third.
- [ ] Read the pitch aloud. If it sounds like marketing, rewrite it.
- [ ] Make the ask explicit and small enough to action in two minutes.
- [ ] Check SPF, DKIM and DMARC are published and passing on the sending domain.
- [ ] Send from a separate outreach domain, not your primary business domain.
- [ ] Warm the sending address for several weeks before any volume.
- [ ] Cap daily volume per address and keep it there.
- [ ] Plan one follow-up, at most two, and decide the spacing now.
- [ ] Record every reply, including the refusals and the reasons.
- [ ] Diary a re-contact date for everyone who said not now.
